Product information "LEWA ecosmart® Diaphragm Metering Pump Basic Model 8"

LEWA ecosmart is an affordable diaphragm metering pump for applications with small to medium pressures and small flow rates. With the metering pump, you get proven LEWA quality to a smart price: All pumps include our patented diaphragm protection system DPS.

By this, LEWA ecosmart offers maximum security for production and environment at a small purchase price. Ecosmart is an innovative and compact diaphragm metering pump – now available via our pump shop with shortest delivery times.

Additional technical data

Diaphragm monitoring	All LEWA ecosmart pumps are standardly equipped with sandwich diaphragms. Diaphragm monitoring is done by a manometer.
Testing	After assembly, LEWA ecosmart pumps are tested in a so-called „1-point test”. On the test bench, the pump is operated under specified operating conditions (flow rate, operating pressure) for about 15 minutes.
Painting	Primer: 1 x 0,03 mm / polyvinyl butyral primer; top layer: 1 x 0,05 mm / polyurethane structured paint / RAL 5015 sky blue / Stainless steel parts are not painted.
Motor	The pumps offered in our pump shop are equipped with a standard AC motor with protection class IP 55. The size depends on the capacity of the pump (0.18 to 0.55 kW). Possible voltages are 400V (50Hz) or 460V (60Hz). The motors are equipped with PTC thermistors for temperature monitoring and are suitable for operation with frequency converter 1:5. Opening pressure	All ecosmart pumps are standardly equipped with an integrated pressure relief valve. It protects the pump against impermissible overload and other operating errors. The valve is factory-set so that the pump can operate with the maximum technically possible pressure without damaging the valve. Changing the settings at a later time is possible – see operating instructions.
Lubricants	The pump is delivered with a standard mineral oil for temperatures from toperation = 0 °C to toperation = 120 °C. Higher temperatures are not possible. For lower temperatures down to -15 °C, another oil needs to be used. For details, refer to the manual.
